Job Description
You will be responsible for managing retail store expansion for BATA through both Company-run and Franchise-run models. This includes preparing and executing the retail expansion plan for the region, negotiating contracts with landlords, mall developers, and franchise partners, as well as overseeing rent occupancy percentage and ensuring new store property compliances. Your role will involve managing the rent occupancy cost for the region and preparing the retail store expansion plan by identifying potential trade areas. You will be responsible for scouting, identifying, and signing new potential retail stores, proposing them to the Property Approving Committee, and conducting commercial negotiations with landlords for lease renewals, new stores, or relocations by understanding profit & loss and return on investment. Furthermore, you will be involved in establishing contracts with landlords and developers for executing lease agreements, as well as handling renegotiations with landlords when necessary. You will also scout, identify, and sign new potential franchise partners and liaise with various stakeholders such as landlords, franchise partners, projects, design, and operations to ensure smooth progress until the store is operational. In addition, you will be required to ensure due diligence of new or relocation properties related to compliance for Company-run stores and keep a close watch on competition and new entrants in the region concerning retail store expansion.,
