Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and innovative Scientist/Expert in Effervescent Tablet (EVT) formulation and development to join our R&D team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the end-to-end development of EVT products, from concept through to scale-up and technology transfer. This role requires deep understanding of effervescent chemistry, excipient compatibility, and manufacturing processes, along with a strong focus on quality, stability, and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead formulation development projects specifically for effervescent tablets, ensuring robust, scalable, and cost-effective solutions.
• Design and execute pre-formulation and formulation studies, including excipient screening, compatibility, and process optimization.
• Develop prototype batches, conduct stability studies, and refine formulations as required.
• Optimize tablet compression parameters, moisture protection strategies, and packaging solutions for effervescent dosage forms.
• Support analytical method development and coordinate with analytical teams for assay, dissolution, moisture content, and stability testing.
• Ensure documentation including batch manufacturing records (BMRs), development reports, and technology transfer documents are accurate and compliant.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Regulatory Affairs, Quality Assurance, Production, and Supply Chain.
• Provide technical support during scale-up, validation, and commercialization phases.
• Stay updated on regulatory requirements (e.g., ICH, US FDA, EMA) relevant to EVT development.

Qualifications:

• M.Pharm / B.Pharm in Pharmaceutical Sciences, Pharmaceutics, or related discipline.
• 4-7 years of hands-on experience in effervescent tablet formulation in a pharma/nutraceutical R&D setting.
• Strong understanding of effervescent excipients, moisture-sensitive formulations, and related processing equipment.
• Familiarity with QbD, DoE, and process validation principles.
• Knowledge of GMP and regulatory requirements in EVT development.
• Excellent problem-solving, project management, and communication skills.
