Inviting applications for the role of Forecasting Planner (office Katowice, Poland) Responsibilities Ensure statistical / sensed forecasts are created for the whole of their portfolio considering demand drivers at the agreed hierarchy level Research demand drivers, prepare forecast data, and evaluate forecast performance Monitor and report on specific KPIs (e.g., forecast accuracy, forecast BIAS, MAPE, forecast value add) at multiple levels and lags and provide insights on contributing factors and improvement opportunities Monitor performance of assigned portfolio, team capabilities, tools & techniques For new product introductions, analyze proposal of like-SKU and collaborate with Demand Planners to generate the initial forecasts, additionally consider cannibalization impacts Optimize and tune statistical forecasts, updating system parameters after conducting the necessary analysis to identify improvement opportunities Track and monitor changes to allow for continuous improvement Qualifications we seek in you! Bachelors degree in engineering, supply chain management, applied math or other relevant degree Strong understand of at least advanced planning systems and its functionality, e.g. Kinaxis, o9 Solutions Knowledge of ERP functionality, experience with SAP / Oracle / JDE an asset.
