Job Title: Maintenance Area Manager Location: Mumbai & Bangalore Salary Range: 45,000 - 50,000 per month Job Description: We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Maintenance Manager to join our bakery company, with opportunities available in Gurgaon-Delhi (Entire North), Mumbai, and Bangalore. The ideal candidate will have over 6 years of experience in maintenance management within the FMCG (Fast-Moving Consumer Goods) industry. This role involves overseeing all maintenance activities, ensuring equipment reliability, and implementing preventive maintenance programs to support our production processes. Key Responsibilities: Maintenance Operations: Oversee and manage all maintenance activities to ensure the smooth operation of bakery equipment and facilities. Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to minimize downtime and extend equipment life. Coordinate with production managers to schedule maintenance activities without disrupting production. Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns and ensure timely repairs. Team Management: Lead, train, and supervise the maintenance team to ensure high performance and adherence to safety standards. Conduct regular performance reviews and provide ongoing training and development opportunities. Foster a collaborative and efficient team environment. Equipment and Facility Management: Ensure all bakery equipment is properly maintained and operating at optimal efficiency. Conduct regular inspections and audits of equipment and facilities to identify and address maintenance needs. Manage inventory of spare parts and maintenance supplies to ensure availability when needed. Budget Management: Develop and manage the maintenance budget, ensuring cost-effective solutions and adherence to financial constraints. Track and report on maintenance costs and identify opportunities for cost savings. Health and Safety Compliance: Ensure all maintenance activities comply with health and safety regulations. Conduct risk assessments and implement measures to minimize risks associated with maintenance work. Promote a culture of safety within the maintenance team and across the organization. Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices to enhance maintenance efficiency. Stay updated on the latest maintenance techniques, technologies, and industry trends. Collaborate with other departments to support overall operational goals. Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field. Minimum of 6 years of experience in maintenance management within the FMCG industry. Strong knowledge of maintenance processes, equipment, and preventive maintenance programs. Proven experience in managing and developing a maintenance team. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong organizational and time management skills. Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
