Job Description

As an Officer at Textiles organization in Maharashtra, India, your main responsibility is to assist in ensuring smooth and efficient production in bulk and sample fabric production with minimal defects. You will be coordinating with the weaving preparatory section to ensure a continuous beam supply in looms and engaging in day-to-day worker handling and periodic training. Some of the intricate designs include 20 and 24 shaft designs, jacquard designs, selvedge weaving, and jacquard with butta designs. Your key focus areas will be on reducing fabric rejection rates through detailed analysis, optimizing worker practices, and improving worker mindset. GPFPL is known for producing fabrics with fewer defects, high worker skill levels, and standardized procedures. Competitors like Raymond and Aravind often order complex design looming from GPFPL due to its high looming accuracy and low fabric defects. You will face challenges in meeting efficiency levels with complex designs and adjusting looms frequently with minimal impact on breakage levels. Your responsibilities will include analyzing previous shift production status, carrying out maintenance checks on machines, supervising workers in beam dressing and gaiting, coordinating in resolving loom issues, ensuring continuous beam supply in looms, supervising workers in specific production phases, managing worker attendance, assigning workers to looms, communicating production targets, and training workers on basic troubleshooting. To qualify for this role, you should have a Bachelor's degree in Textiles or a Diploma in Textile Manufacture with a minimum of 4-8 years of experience. You will report to the Manager.,
