Lead the financial strategy for 3 ibis hotels in Mumbai, implementing appropriate processes, metrics, and controls to manage business risks and ensure a strong accounting and operational control environment. The goal is to safeguard assets, improve operations, and enhance profitability in the region. Your role involves implementing processes to provide accurate, timely, and meaningful financial information to key stakeholders in the region. You will also drive best practice sharing among hotel finance leaders and deliver financial expertise to ibis finance teams. As a Chartered Accountant (CA) with an advanced certification in Finance or Accounting (an added advantage), you should have a minimum of 10 years of experience in Financial Management. Strong analytical and strategic planning skills are essential for this role, along with leadership and team management experience. Your responsibilities will include facilitating the business planning processes such as operating and capital budgets, forecasts, risk assessment, standard reporting processes like month-end reporting, and compliance with local tax, financial, accounting regulations, and management agreements. In addition to the technical qualifications, you should possess the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. A results-oriented mindset, excellent communication skills, and the capacity to think strategically, inductively, and creatively are key attributes for success in this role. A pleasant personality, grooming, comfort with taking ownership of projects, and a thorough understanding of marketing and negotiating techniques are also crucial for excelling in this position.,
