We are seeking a highly motivated Financial Analyst to join our Finance team on a full-time basis: Major Responsibilities & Accountabilities: Overseeing the day-to-day general ledger operations. Ensuring the daily transactions are promptly entered into the ERP including updating exchange rates, journal entries, account reconciliations and ledger reviews. Ensure compliance with company accounting policies and procedures, internal controls and maintain audit trails. Coordinate with other departments in the Finance functions and cross functions to ensure the General ledger is closed on a timely manner to meet the corporate timelines for monthly, quarterly and annual submissions. Support the audits (internal and external) by providing necessary documentation and explanations. Assist with preparation and filing of direct and indirect tax returns Liaise with Tax consultants and authorities as needed Critical skills & Attributes Soft Skills Excellent written and Verbal communication skills Active listening Collaboration and problem-solving skills Attention to detail Essential Competencies General Ledger Accounting MIS Taxation Good to have Competencies Ability to grasp quickly and work independently Accuracy Technical Competencies Software ERP support Work experience in ERP- QAD (MFG Pro)/SAP/Oracle. Ability to analyze financial statements and accounts and identify trends and discrepancies Requirements: Academic/Professional Education: Qualified Chartered Accountant.
