Job Description

As a qualified Chartered Accountant (CA), you will be responsible for various key tasks in the accounting department located in Andheri, Mumbai. Your primary duties will include analyzing and ensuring the timely submission of Management Information System (MIS), finalizing accounts under Indian Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), and managing the daily operations of the accounting department. You will oversee crucial activities such as the month and year-end processes, general ledger maintenance, treasury management, budgeting, forecasting, revenue and expenditure variance analysis, fixed asset and debt activity monitoring. Additionally, you will be required to analyze accounting data, prepare financial reports, establish accounting methods, policies, and principles, as well as coordinate and complete annual audits. Your role will involve closely reviewing monthly expenditure, identifying opportunities for cost savings, and preparing Management Information System (MIS) reports. You will also lead the budgeting and forecasting exercise, comparing budgeted costs with actual costs, and ensuring the accuracy of production costs. Familiarity with the Companies Act, Income Tax regulations, and Goods and Services Tax (GST) laws is essential. Effective coordination with various departments including Sales, Commercial, Production, and Post Production is crucial. You should possess strong leadership skills to direct and supervise your team effectively. This is a full-time position that requires a Master's degree, with a preference for candidates having at least 2 years of experience in finance.
