Job Description

As a Figma Designer, you'll lead the visual design process for our LIMS application, creating intuitive, efficient, and aesthetically pleasing interfaces. You'll translate complex laboratory workflows into user-friendly designs that enhance productivity and data accessibility for scientific professionals. Key Responsibilities Create comprehensive user interface designs and prototypes in Figma for our LIMS web and mobile applications Develop a cohesive design system and component library specifically for laboratory software needs Design intuitive workflows for laboratory data entry, sample tracking, reporting, and analysis Create wireframes, mockups, and interactive prototypes for stakeholder review Collaborate with developers to ensure design vision is accurately implemented Conduct user research and usability testing to validate design decisions Design data visualization components for scientific metrics and reports Stay current with UX/UI trends and best practices in scientific software design Requirements 3+ years of experience in UI/UX design for web and mobile applications Expert proficiency with Figma for interface design, prototyping, and design systems Strong portfolio demonstrating user-centered design approach Experience designing complex data-entry forms and data visualization interfaces Understanding of responsive design principles Excellent visual design skills with strong typography, color theory, and layout abilities Strong communication skills to present and explain design decisions Job Type: Full-time Schedule: Day shift Monday to Friday Work Location: In person,
