Key Responsibilities Meet or exceed individual sales targets on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis Contribute to the achievement of team and organizational sales goals Identify and acquire new customers, including bookstores, educational institutions, libraries, and corporate clients Explore and expand into new territories within the assigned area Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure repeat business Understand customer needs and recommend suitable products Provide prompt responses to inquiries and resolve customer issues effectively Actively promote new book launches, e-resources, and digital offerings to targeted audiences Organize and participate in promotional activities like workshops, book fairs, and events Conduct product demonstrations and presentations for clients Ensure timely order processing and delivery coordination Monitor stock levels with distributors/retailers and suggest restocking as needed Gather feedback from customers and share insights about market trends with the management team Monitor competitor activities and suggest strategies to maintain a competitive edge Maintain accurate records of sales activities, including visits, follow-ups, and closures Submit regular reports on sales performance and customer feedback Keep the CRM system updated with all client interactions Stay updated with the latest product knowledge and industry trends Participate in training programs and skill development workshops as required Requirements Strong written and verbal communication skills Exposure to basic Excel and creative skills Drive for results About Company: Taxmann is India's leading publisher of taxation and corporate laws.
