We are seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented Field Sales Executive to join our growing team. You will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building strong client relationships, and driving revenue growth. This role involves significant field work, visiting manufacturing companies to understand their needs and present our solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead Generation: Proactively identify and research potential B2B clients within the manufacturing industry through various channels, including online research, industry directories, and networking events.
* Appointment Setting: Reach out to prospective clients via phone, email, and social media to introduce our products/services and schedule in-person meetings.
* Client Visits: Conduct field visits to clients offices to meet with key decision-makers, understand their business challenges, and assess their needs.
* Needs Assessment & Solution Presentation: Effectively communicate the value proposition of our products/services and tailor presentations to address the specific needs of each client.
* Relationship Building: Develop and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with clients by providing excellent customer service and follow-up.
* Collaboration: Work closely with senior colleagues and Line of Business (LOB) specialists to strategize on complex deals and bring them to a successful close.
* Sales Reporting: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all sales activities, client interactions, and sales pipeline status using our CRM system.
* Market Knowledge: Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market conditions within the manufacturing sector.
* Sales Targets: Consistently meet or exceed individual and team sales targets and KPIs.
Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree
* Experience: 0-5 years of experience in sales, with a strong preference for B2B sales experience.
* Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
* A "hunter" mentality with a strong desire to generate new business.
* Ability to work independently and manage a sales territory effectively.
* Proven ability to build rapport and establish trust with clients.
* Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to understand and articulate technical concepts.
* Proficiency in using a CRM system is a plus.
* A valid driver's license and reliable transportation are required.
* Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory.
