Job Description: We are seeking a dynamic and result-oriented Agency Sales Manager to join our team at Shriram Life Insurance. The ideal candidate will be responsible for recruiting, training, and managing a team of insurance agents to achieve sales targets in the Karnataka region.
- Key Responsibilities: Recruitment & Team Building: Identify and recruit potential insurance agents and advisors from the local market. Build and maintain a strong team by providing necessary training, guidance, and support.
- Sales Target Achievement: Drive business growth through effective sales strategies, ensuring that the team meets individual and team sales targets.
- Training & Development: Provide regular training sessions for agents on product knowledge, sales techniques, and effective customer engagement practices.
- Market Expansion: Develop and implement plans to increase market penetration and customer base within the assigned territory.
- Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and agents, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.
- Compliance: Ensure all sales activities comply with company policies, industry regulations, and ethical standards.
- Reporting: Regularly monitor and report on sales performance, market trends, and team activities to senior management.
- Qualifications: Education: Graduate in any discipline (MBA in Sales/Marketing preferred).
- Experience: Minimum of 1-4 years of experience in sales, preferably in the life insurance or financial services sector.
- Skills:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to lead and motivate a team.
- Good understanding of the local market and customer needs.
- Result-oriented with a proven track record in achieving sales targets.
- Proficiency in local languages (Kannada, Hindi, and English).
