Job Description
The Field Sales Engineer (FSE) at Samtec, Inc will be responsible for developing innovative design-wins by aligning the customers" technical needs/application with Samtec's product design and development capabilities. The primary focus is on servicing the customer through various means to ensure satisfaction. Key responsibilities include: - Utilizing territory sales experience to drive technical design cycles - Engaging with technology/micro-electronic and manufacturing customers at different levels - Demonstrating strong organizational and appointment setting practices - Building and nurturing relationships with both internal and external customer base - Operating with a high level of self-motivation in an autonomous environment to achieve sales objectives within the assigned territory - Demonstrating a passion for technology and conducting B2B sales across a wide territory - Exhibiting exceptional follow-up skills to ensure customer satisfaction The role may involve additional tasks based on individual strengths and capabilities, beyond the defined responsibilities. Required Experience: - Minimum of 5 years of OEM sales experience in a technical industry - Experience in component sales within a technical industry - Strong relationship building and interpersonal skills - Exceptional follow-up skills - Ability to sit/stand for extended periods and no sensory deprivation or limb paralysis This position demands a proactive and customer-centric approach with a focus on technical expertise and sales acumen to drive business growth effectively.,
