Role Description This is a full-time on-site role for a Factory Manager at New Era Machines in Ludhiana. The Factory Manager will be responsible for production planning, quality control, production management, operations management, and manufacturing operations on a day-to-day basis. Qualifications Educational Background Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Production Engineering, or a related field. MBA or PG Diploma in Operations Management (preferred but not mandatory). Experience 815 years of experience in manufacturing/plant operations, with at least 35 years in a managerial role. Hands-on experience in production planning, process improvement, and quality assurance. Leadership & Team Management Proven ability to lead, motivate, and manage cross-functional teams. Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills under pressure. Technical & Operational Knowledge Understanding of lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and 5S principles. Familiarity with modern factory equipment and automation systems. Working knowledge of preventive maintenance systems. Compliance & Safety Sound understanding of safety protocols, statutory compliance, and labor laws. Experience in implementing and maintaining ISO, GMP, or other quality standards. Systems & Reporting Proficiency in ERP systems, Microsoft Office, and data-driven reporting. Ability to analyze production KPIs and drive continuous improvement. Soft Skills Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work collaboratively with other departments (e.g., Quality, Maintenance, HR).,
