An Export Sales Executive is a professional responsible for generating international sales for a companys products or services. Their role focuses on expanding the business into global markets and managing relationships with overseas clients or distributors.

 

  • Sales & Market Development

    • Identify new business opportunities in international markets.

    • Develop and execute export sales strategies.

    • Manage and grow existing overseas customer accounts.

  • Client & Distributor Management

    • Maintain relationships with international clients and distributors.

    • Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and after-sales service.

  • Logistics & Documentation

    • Coordinate shipping and export documentation (e.g., invoices, packing lists, bills of lading).

    • Ensure compliance with international trade regulations and documentation standards.

        • Prepare quotations and negotiate pricing and contract terms.

        • Monitor exchange rates, duties, and tariffs.

      1. Market Research & Reporting

        • Conduct market research to assess competition and consumer trends abroad.

        • Report on sales performance, market feedback, and forecasts.


      Skills & Qualifications

      • Strong knowledge of export procedures and international trade regulations

      • Proficient in sales and negotiation

      • Fluent in English and ideally one or more foreign languages
