Job Description
The position of Assistant Manager / Executive - Technical Support (Mech.) at SEW-EURODRIVE Ind Pvt Ltd requires you to undertake the following responsibilities: - Providing application engineering & technical support for GM and IG to SEW sales. - Offering techno-commercial proposals for IG to SEW sales. - Coordinating with Electronics Manager for package sales development and execution. - Collaborating with SEW Group Company for specific technical points as per communication matrix. - Taking responsibility for drawings. - Visiting customers upon request to extend technical support as part of business development. - Conducting training sessions for SEW personnel and customer engineers. - Handling product engineering, including special design, for IG and GM. - Ensuring technical approval for any product. - Updating and providing training on new products to SEW employees. - Maintaining the Quality Manual System. As an Assistant Manager / Executive - Technical Support (Mech.), you will have the authority to: - Provide technical quotes to salespersons for their applications. - Organize training materials and documents in collaboration with Manager TS. - Make decisions on arranging technical training at plants and/or customers" locations jointly with Manager TS. Profile Requirements: - Education: BE in Mech. / Electrical / Production Engineering from a reputable institute. - Experience: Minimum 1 - 3 years of experience in the Engineering industries. - Skills Required: Exposure to Design, Application engineering, or Maintenance. Knowledge of Gearmotor or any rotating equipment and its accessories will be an added advantage. Good communication skills are preferred. This job does not involve any direct reportees but requires interaction with 6 department people.
