Job Description

As a Store & Purchase Executive, you will play a crucial role in managing procurement and store operations efficiently. Your responsibilities will include overseeing the entire purchase cycle, from sourcing and negotiation to order placement and inventory management. A successful candidate for this role should possess a strong understanding of supply chain management, exceptional communication and negotiation skills, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team. Your key responsibilities will encompass various areas: Procurement: - Sourcing and evaluating potential suppliers for a wide range of goods and services. - Preparing and issuing purchase orders in a timely manner. - Negotiating prices and terms with suppliers to ensure cost-effective procurement. - Ensuring timely delivery of materials to meet operational requirements. Store Management: - Managing inventory levels and stock control effectively. - Receiving, inspecting, and storing materials accurately. - Maintaining precise inventory records for efficient tracking. - Ensuring proper storage conditions and appropriate material handling practices. - Conducting regular stock audits to maintain inventory accuracy. Supply Chain Management: - Coordinating with different departments to facilitate timely material delivery for production needs. - Managing logistics and transportation of materials efficiently. - Tracking and reporting on inventory and procurement activities for performance evaluation. In addition to these responsibilities, you will be expected to: - Maintain accurate records of all purchase and store transactions. - Prepare reports on inventory and procurement activities for management review. - Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as adherence to safety regulations. To qualify for this role, you should have: - A Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field. - Minimum of 5-6 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting. - Strong knowledge of procurement processes, inventory management, and supply chain operations. - Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. - Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel. - Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
