It is essential to have a basic understanding of public relations and media communication. Strong media relations and networking capabilities are required for this role. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are crucial. You should have attention to detail and the ability to work under tight deadlines. Proficiency in MS Office and media monitoring tools would be preferred. As a Marketing professional in this role, you will be responsible for tracking and monitoring media coverage and industry trends regularly. Your duties will include maintaining and updating daily media activity and coverage reports, drafting and disseminating press releases, media pitches, and articles, as well as coordinating with media outlets to ensure accurate brand representation. You will also be supporting in managing crisis communication and reputational issues, and collaborating with internal teams (marketing, content, digital) to ensure brand alignment.
