Job Description
The Executive Director, BSI Field Excellence Operations, is responsible for defining and implementing the strategic vision across various areas including Incentive Compensation, Field Design & Deployment, Campaign Management, Territory Planning, and RLT Operations. This role requires a high level of expertise in commercial operations, the ability to collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders in CLS, and the authority to make critical decisions that impact business performance globally. Leading a team of subject matter experts and operational leaders, the incumbent will ensure the development and implementation of scalable, data-driven solutions to improve field force effectiveness and customer engagement. Overseeing complex systems and processes, the Executive Director will promote innovation, automation, operational excellence, and continuous improvement while fostering a culture of accountability and capability enhancement. Incentive Compensation: - Develop and execute effective incentive compensation plans aligned with business goals. - Calculate, report, simulate, and benchmark incentives to ensure accuracy and competitiveness. - Analyze above-country data to identify trends and enhance incentive compensation programs. - Monitor sales performance through strategic incentive compensation initiatives. Field Design & Deployment: - Create segmentation and targeting strategies to optimize field force efforts. - Determine the optimal size and structure of the field force to meet business requirements. - Design and align territories for maximum coverage and efficiency. - Manage call plans to ensure effective customer engagement. - Provide recommendations for talent mapping to ensure proper role alignment. Field Capability Development: - Conduct workshops to enhance field force skills. - Assess field capability through assessments and provide actionable insights. - Deliver product training to enhance field force proficiency. Campaign Management: - Design impactful campaigns to drive business objectives and customer engagement. - Execute campaigns using SFMC Journey Builder for seamless delivery and tracking. RLT Operations: - Manage data for accurate decision-making. - Generate and distribute reports to provide insights into business performance. - Analyze customer behavior and preferences. - Monitor supply analytics for efficient supply chain operations. Functional Skills and Knowledge: - Sales Force Effectiveness (SFE) Expertise - Business Partnering & Strategic Planning - Data-Driven Decision Making - Digital & Platform Fluency - Program & Project Management - Team & Capability Development - Communication & Influence - Governance & Compliance Essential Requirements: - 15+ years of experience in commercial operations within the life sciences or pharmaceutical industry. - Strong focus on Sales Force Effectiveness (SFE), Incentive Compensation, Field Deployment, and Campaign Management. - Proven ability to lead cross-functional enablement strategies in global environments. - Deep understanding of data-driven decision-making and customer engagement optimization. Leadership and Oversight: - Experience leading large, geographically dispersed teams. - Proficiency in capability building and performance management. - Strong governance and operational oversight skills. Program and Change Management: - Background in program management and transformation initiatives. - Experience in managing AI-related projects and emerging technologies. - Ability to deliver high-quality services efficiently. Global and Regional Exposure: - Familiarity with Rest of World (RoW) operations. - Experience tailoring strategies across diverse markets. - Experience working with global service organizations.
