Job Description: Executive Bakery Chef Location: Hyderabad, India Budget: Up to 25 LPA About the Role: We are seeking an experienced Executive Chef to join our team at a premium restaurant/hotel in Mumbai. The ideal candidate should have a deep understanding of Indian flavors, cooking techniques, and kitchen operations while ensuring high-quality food production and maintaining hygiene standards. Key Responsibilities: Ensure consistency in taste, presentation, and portion control of all dishes. Oversee kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and plating. Maintain kitchen hygiene and ensure compliance with food safety standards. Supervise and train junior chefs, commis, and kitchen staff. Monitor kitchen inventory, stock levels, and food costs to minimize waste. Develop new dishes and contribute to seasonal menu planning. Coordinate with suppliers to source high-quality ingredients. Manage kitchen schedules and ensure smooth daily operations. Key Requirements: Experience: 10+ years in Bakery and confectionary cuisine, with at least 2 years as a Executive Chef. Education: Degree/Diploma in Culinary Arts or Hotel Management (preferred). Skills: Strong knowledge of Indian spices, curries, tandoor, and regional cuisines. Ability to handle high-pressure environments in a fast-paced kitchen. Leadership and team management skills. Good understanding of food safety and hygiene standards.
