Role : Event Sales Executive About the Role Job description Role & responsibilities 1. Event & Exhibition Sales Expertise: Leverage your expertise in Event and Exhibition & Concept Selling to excel in B2B exhibition Space Sales, and bring sponsorship for events additionally positioning our offerings as industry leaders with industry benchmarks. 2. Market Research: Perform in-depth research to identify & develop a list of potential exhibitors and sponsor partner whenever required and enhance our portfolio to align with client needs. 3. Prospecting & Client Engagement: Employ data-driven strategies to identify and target potential clients through strategic prospecting. Take charge of the full sales process, including data analysis, data mining, cold calling, initial contact, regular B2B meetings to determine needs, closing deals, sales and greatly boosting revenue generation. 4. Client Relationship Management: Develop and nurture both new and existing accounts, Develop and maintain a strong relationship with existing and potential sponsorship clients and exhibitors. 5. Handling Sales Inquiries: Professionally manage inquiries via telephone, email, and post, including producing mailings and general office correspondence. 6. Presentations & Campaigns: Collaborate with the marketing team to design impactful presentations and marketing campaigns for effective promotion of the products and services. 7. Promotional Material: Prepare Compelling Promotional Material to Advertise Sales Opportunities Effectively. 8. Sales Performance Enhancement: Maintain a continuous drive to enhance your sales performance, consistently achieving and exceeding targets. 9. Client Engagement: Speaking with decision-makers within defined business sectors, visiting clients when necessary to facilitate meaningful discussions. 10. Post-Sales Relationship Building: To Follow up, close the sales, and build relationships with the clients after the closure of the sales cycle ensuring long-term satisfaction and retention. Key Skills / Requirements : 1. Proven 1 to 5 (Executive or Manager role respectively) or more years experience of demonstrated success in events sponsorship and exhibition space selling (National & International : Events, and Exhibitions, e.g. Trade Fairs, Conferences, Knowledge Forums) 2. Exceptional verbal and written business communication and presentation skills, Self-motivated with a strong aptitude for relationship-building. | Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Professional tools. 3. Embrace technology and stay ahead of industry trends to maximize work efficiency. Job description - Conducts telephone conversations to identify and qualify prospective customers and records sales prospecting activity in Excel spreadsheet format. - Investigate and create new revenue generating events & ideas - Assist in education and training of sales teams on events and sponsorship opportunities - Assist account representatives with preparing & presenting event sales presentations - Brainstorm and develop custom activation plans for account representatives & clients - Create and manage sales collateral for event packages - Create customized sponsorships and sales materials as needed - Analyze the value and reporting results of each event - Create event re-cap presentations for internal and external purposes. Objectives: Revenue Generating and Account Management Role: 1. Building New Corporate Accounts- Reaching out to Corporate through various channels and pitching Events / Delgates Sales Services based on their Event related requirements 2. On-boarding new Corporate Accounts and getting registered as preferred vendors their Event related requirements 3. Generating Event enquiries from the Corporate Accounts and working in coordination with the Supply team to help them book Venues and other services for their Events 4. Upselling/Cross-Selling our Event related services based on Corporate Requirement 5.
