As an ETL Test Engineer with 6-10 years of experience in Hyderabad (Remote), you are expected to possess the following skills and expertise: You should have 4+ years of experience in data testing, quality assurance, or data management. Additionally, you should be familiar with data testing and quality assurance tools, such as data profiling tools, ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) testing, and database testing tools. Proficiency in SQL and data analysis is crucial for querying, manipulating, and validating data. You should also have a basic knowledge of test automation tools and scripting languages for automating data testing. An understanding of data governance principles and practices is essential. You will be responsible for developing data testing strategies, plans, and methodologies to ensure the accuracy, completeness, and reliability of data. Your role will involve executing data validation tests, including data profiling, data reconciliation, and data integrity checks, to identify anomalies and data quality issues. You will also implement and maintain data testing automation frameworks and scripts to streamline and automate repetitive testing processes. Creating test cases and test scripts to validate data accuracy, consistency, and integrity across various data sources, databases, and data pipelines is part of your responsibilities. You will continuously monitor and analyze data quality metrics to identify trends, patterns, and areas of improvement. Detecting, documenting, and reporting data quality issues, inconsistencies, and anomalies to the relevant teams for resolution is crucial. Collaboration with data engineers, data analysts, and other teams to understand data structures, sources, and transformations is expected. Maintaining comprehensive documentation of data testing processes, test cases, and test results is essential. You will also generate and provide reports on data quality metrics and findings to management and stakeholders. Adherence to data governance policies and practices, contributing to the development and enforcement of data management standards, is required. Continuous improvement of data testing processes, tools, and methodologies to adapt to evolving data requirements and technologies is expected. Having Healthcare domain experience is considered a plus. Excellent communication and collaboration skills are necessary to work effectively with cross-functional teams, management, and stakeholders.,
