You are a motivated Entry-Level F5 Administrator with foundational knowledge or exposure to Hitachi or BSNL environments. Joining the support and troubleshooting team in a remote position based in Pune, you will be responsible for providing first-level support for F5 BIG-IP systems, including Load Balancers and Application Delivery Controllers (ADC) with modules such as LTM and ASM. You will assist in troubleshooting network and application issues, monitor network performance, support load balancing and traffic management tasks, and help implement and test security policies and firewall rules using F5 ASM under supervision. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, you will support application deployments in Hitachi or BSNL environments, assist in system upgrades, patches, and backups for F5 infrastructure, and document troubleshooting steps, configurations, and resolutions for future reference. Adhering to organizational and industry-standard security protocols, you will also participate in 24/7 on-call support rotations as needed, under guidance. To qualify for this role, you should hold a Bachelor of Engineering (BE) degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics, or a related field. Additionally, you should have 2 years of experience or internships in network support, troubleshooting, or F5 systems, along with basic exposure to Hitachi or BSNL network environments. Familiarity with F5 BIG-IP platforms (LTM, ASM) is a plus. Your technical skills should include a basic understanding of F5 Load Balancing and Application Delivery solutions, familiarity with network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/HTTPS), awareness of network troubleshooting tools and techniques, and basic knowledge of scripting (e.g., Bash, Python) is a plus but not mandatory. Soft skills required for this role include fluency in English (written and verbal), proficiency in Hindi and Marathi for effective communication, good problem-solving skills, attention to detail, effective communication, and ability to collaborate in a remote team environment. Preferred qualifications include F5 certifications (e.g., F5 Certified BIG-IP Administrator) or intent to pursue, academic or internship experience with Hitachi storage/networking or BSNL telecom infrastructure, and a basic understanding of ITIL processes or incident management.
