Job Title: Structural Design Engineer Location: Chennai, India Job Type: Full-Time Job Description: We are seeking a highly motivated Structural Design Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and analyzing structural components for residential and commercial buildings. The role involves working closely with the project team to ensure that designs meet safety, performance, and sustainability standards while optimizing material use and construction costs. Key Responsibilities: Design and analyze structural components, including beams, columns, slabs, and foundations, using software such as AutoCAD, STAAD Pro, and Revit. Prepare detailed structural drawings and specifications in compliance with IS codes and industry standards. Conduct structural analysis to assess the strength, stability, and durability of structures. Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure design feasibility and project alignment. Optimize material usage and design to reduce environmental impact and enhance cost efficiency. Perform site visits and inspections to ensure proper implementation of structural designs. Prepare technical reports and documentation for design approvals and client presentations. Requirements: Bachelor's or Masters degree in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering. 02 years of experience in structural design. Proficiency in structural design software (AutoCAD, STAAD Pro, Revit). Strong understanding of structural analysis and design principles. Familiarity with IS codes and industry standards for structural design. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Effective communication and teamwork skills. Preferred Qualifications: Experience in designing sustainable and eco-friendly structures. Knowledge of ETABS and other advanced structural analysis tools is a plus.
