Job Description
Provide effective and inspirational leadership to the local mechanical Integrity team, ensuring that it has efficient, motivated and high-quality staff. Play an active role as a key leader in the global Asset Lifecycle Optimsiation leadership team, working with other leaders to plan for resourcing and high quality technical delivery of existing and future projects. Provide technical leadership, direction and assurance to the local delivery team for Mechanical Integrity delivery projects, with focus on high quality delivery and assurance. Establish effective relationships with key global ALO focal points. Work with the local recruitment team to identify and recruit high quality candidates to grow the strength and scale of the local integrity management delivery team. Provide a safe and healthy working environment, promoting safe working practices and achieving continuous improvement in health and safety performance. Ensure team operates within the agreed company business management, ethics, HR and HSE policies and standards Possess a recognized Technical/Engineering Degree minimum Bachelors level, preferably in mechanical, structural, civil, corrosion or materials engineering. A masters degree or MBA is advantageous. 15+ years of relevant experience Project delivery experience gained in a contracting/consulting environment with a demonstrable track-record of project delivery in the mechanical integrity / asset management space. Familiarity with broad asset management / asset integrity management / risk management principles (e.g. ISO 55000 Asset Management or similar) Experience in managing or delivering mechanical integrity / assets in typical oil and gas or process industry equipment, including: pipelines (onshore/subsea), pressure equipment, structures and other processing equipment. Experience in all equipment types is not essential, but familiarity / experience with many equipment types will be viewed favourably. Experience in delivering technical consulting reports. Familiarity / experience performing / delivering mechanical integrity consulting scopes, including such scopes as: Integrity management plan development, inspection workpack development, risk based inspection, reliability assessments (RAM, RCM), inspection anomaly assessment, fitness for service assessment (Level 1, 2, 3), fracture mechanics, vibration / fatigue assessment, condition monitoring/ inspection management program development, materials selection, corrosion assessment, modelling & management, failure analysis & root cause assessment, RBI program development & implementation, structural integrity management plan, structural condition assessment, familiarity with pressure equipment design codes. It is not expected that applicants will have experience in all these discipline areas but broad experience in a broad range of asset management areas will be advantageous Demonstrated technical leadership in core integrity management disciplines (e.g technical papers, presentations).
