Engineering Drawings Draftsman

Exp.: 1-2 Yrs.
An Engineering Draftsman is responsible for translating engineering designs, specifications, and ideas into detailed technical drawings using computer-aided design (CAD) software. They collaborate with engineers, architects, and other professionals to create accurate and comprehensive drawings that guide the production or construction process.
Key Responsibilities:
Drafting and Design:
Create detailed and precise technical drawings based on engineering designs, specifications, and calculations.
Utilize CAD software to develop 2D and 3D models of components, structures, and systems.
Collaboration:
Work closely with engineers, architects, and other team members to understand project requirements and specifications.
Incorporate feedback and make necessary revisions to drawings based on input from various stakeholders.
Material and Component Selection:
Select appropriate materials and components for inclusion in drawings, ensuring they meet engineering standards and project requirements.
Documentation:
Prepare and maintain documentation related to drawings, including revision history, annotations, and other relevant information.
Organize and manage drawing files and documentation in a systematic manner.
Quality Assurance:
Review and verify the accuracy of drawings to ensure they comply with industry standards, codes, and project specifications.
Identify and resolve any discrepancies or issues in the drawings.
Communication:
Effectively communicate technical information through drawings and annotations.
Collaborate with other departments, clients, and vendors to address design-related queries and issues.
Keep Abreast of Technological Advancements:
Stay updated on advancements in CAD software and other relevant technologies to enhance drafting efficiency and capabilities.
Problem Solving:
Analyze and solve design and drafting problems as they arise during the project lifecycle.
Propose innovative solutions to improve design and drafting processes.
