Job Description

Develop and program CNC machine tools using CAD and CAM software Design 2D/3D models and convert them into machine instructions (G-code) Set up and calibrate machines according to specifications, ensuring that parts are machined to precise tolerances Collaborate with engineers and production teams to understand technical drawings and specifications Modify existing programs to optimize machine performance and reduce cycle time Troubleshoot and resolve any machine programming or operational issues Review blueprints, technical drawings, and CAD files to determine material, machine, tooling, and process requirements Ensure compliance with safety standards and quality control processes Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the latest CAD/CAM technologies and machining techniques Perform routine machine maintenance and assist in machine repairs when necessary Document and maintain records of program changes, production schedules, and work orders Education and/or Experience: Bachelors degree in mechanical engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field Minimum of 2 years of experience Strong knowledge of CNC VMC programming Familiarity with CAD/CAM software and the ability to interpret technical drawings Hands-on experience in tool selection, machining processes, and quality control Thank you for your interest in a career with Varel Energy Solutions.
