Job Description

We are looking for an enthusiastic Android Developer to join our dynamic software development team. You should have a strong passion for mobile technologies and aim to deliver high-performance applications that enhance the audio experience for users. Your main responsibilities will include designing, developing, and maintaining Android mobile applications both independently and in collaboration with a team. It is essential to adhere to agile methodologies and project management practices, ensuring the quality and security of development tasks while meeting project timelines. You will be required to work closely with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and deploy new features and applications in alignment with our product roadmap and business objectives. Participation in project meetings, discussions, and sprint meetings is crucial for effective communication and collaboration within the team. The ideal candidate should possess expertise in Android SDK, Kotlin, Java programming, and advanced app development for Android phones and tablets. Knowledge of Android GUI, SQLite database, and experience with third-party libraries and APIs is necessary. Desired competencies for this role include extensive experience with the Android SDK and Java programming language, designing and building advanced applications for the Android platform, and familiarity with Android GUI, Camera, GPS API, Maps API, Services, and SQLite database. Additionally, experience in Jetpack Compose, writing unit test cases, publishing apps to Google Play Store, and working in projects following Agile Methodology is preferred. Good communication skills, debugging skills, and adherence to coding standards and documentation are essential qualities for this role. It is beneficial to have knowledge in Bluetooth/BLE programming, the audio domain, HTML5, JavaScript, CSS, jQuery mobile, C/C++, Android NDK, Proguard, Gradle tools, and software design using UML Diagrams, Flow Diagrams, and Sequence Diagrams. Experience with Android IDE, client apps for version control systems like SVN, Git, code review tools like Gerrit, CodeCollaborator, and JIRA is desired.
