Org Structure R&D - Mechatronics Job posted on Mar 12, 2025 Employee Type Staff Experience range (Years) N.A Purpose of the Role Responsible for design, development, testing, and integration of mechatronics systems in a collaborative and fast-paced environment Responsibilities & Accountabilities Understanding cost drivers associated with systems Considering lifecycle costs including engineering, installation, and maintenance during design Quantifying the financial benefits of automation projects Meeting or exceeding customer expectations for the system with user-friendliness Implement strategies to improve PQCDMSE from concept through prototyping Work with CFT to optimise test set-ups, automation & data collection processes ensuring high quality and repeatable research Conduct DFMEA, FMD for the system and sub-systems Preparation of architecture for the machine (Electrical/ Software domain) in-line with IPR Preparation of SRS & HRS for machine application requirements & test jigs Integrate electrical systems (Hardware & Software in machine) to ensure optimum performance Creation of validation plan and analyse data Preparation of machine BOM, design documents and operating instruction manual Implementing new technologies for control system optimization Implementing data-driven process analysis for continuous improvement Adopting an iterative design approach for control systems Prepare detail requirements and expected results to hardware and software team for application requirements Prepare validation and verification plan for ensuring the reliability of electrical system and its intended functions Adherence to business excellence initiatives,
