Job Summary: Responsible as the single point of contact and ownership of EMS relationship and production attainment Manage and create cost reduction projects and targets at our key EMS suppliers in Asia and Europe Manage the relationships with all key EMS suppliers of the assigned products and/or services for the Systems & Solutions Group Work collaboratively to support Integration Center supply chain and operational teams to ensure access to best cost material and optimized supply chain setup within assigned categories In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be: Responsible as the single point of contact and ownership of EMS relationship and production attainment Handle and create cost reduction projects and targets at our key EMS suppliers in Asia and Europe Handle the relationships with all key EMS suppliers of the assigned products and/or services for the Systems & Solutions Group Work collaboratively to support Integration Center supply chain and operational teams to ensure access to best cost material and optimized supply chain setup within assigned categories Responsible for Electrical System integration components category, including 3 rd party Electrical hardware and accessories. Navigate and analyze complex data to identify and present opportunities Establish and present reasons supporting sourcing recommendations Handle and lead strategic supplier relationships and performance improvements Develop, negotiate, and implement regional supplier contracts Support Electrical System assembly sites Integration Centers by owning key supplier relationships, act as partner concern point. Continually develop and implement Supply Chain strategies in order to exceed Supply Management business objectives relating to, but not restricted to, cost, delivery performance and quality Support supplier consolidation initiatives through the identification of best cost suppliers in best cost countries and the migration of spend to such suppliers. Demonstrate the supplier development process, from identifying secondary sources, through conducting process capability audits and product qualification Lead Quarterly Business Reviews with Key suppliers, establishing performance metrics/reporting (cost, delivery, lead-time, quality) to drive continuous improvement Work with senior management to set individual objectives and ensure progress though out each period to meet those objectives Ensure new product introduction occurs in a timely manner and meets all business objectives through coordination with appropriate functions to ensure business, commercial and technology requirements are met or exceeded Report on key performance measures, take appropriate action and resolve when performance is below established targets Feed into SOP (forecast requirements, material and capacity constraints) Ensure compliance to ethical, regulatory and compliance regulations Who You Are: Excellent management and interpersonal skill For This Role, You Will Need: Expertise in contract negotiation and risk analysis Good presentation skills Strong verbal and written communication skills Self-motivated, good project and resource management skills Ability to lead a team, Ability to adapt to change Willing to travel, regionally and globally Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart: 5+ years proven track record in strategic procurement within a technology driven company, preferably within electronics or contract manufacturing Degree or equivalent experience in relevant subject to role and/or relevant post graduate professional qualification or suitable work experience Our Culture & Commitment to You At Emerson, we prioritize a workplace where every employee is valued, respected, and empowered to grow.
