As the organization's product is a full-fledged Linux system encompassing various features of the crib such as actuation, music, video monitoring, AI for baby presence, sleep, and posture detection, you will play a crucial role in communicating data with paired mobiles and the cloud backend. You should be enthusiastic about contributing to all aspects involved in creating a successful consumer product, with a strong emphasis on open source software. Your responsibilities will include: - Taking ownership of the bootloader, kernel, and rootfs software on the crib. - Managing electronics design including PCBA, schematics, and coordinating physical layout. - Designing debug boards and jigs, working with EMS for mass production. - Implementing and maintaining crib-related services like IoT messaging, low latency video streaming, sensor data processing, device health monitoring, and OTA update management. - Optimizing and accelerating AI and vision algorithms on the crib, focusing on secure boot and key management. To be successful in this role, you should possess: - A Bachelor's/Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related fields. - 2+ years of experience in Linux/embedded systems. - Proficiency in C programming, operating systems, and fundamental data structures and algorithms. - Experience in writing and tweaking device drivers, as well as proficiency in Python and bash scripting. - Strong understanding of version control principles, preferably using git. Desirable skills include: - Familiarity with Linux command line tools and IoT devices. - Previous experience with Python projects and strong network programming fundamentals. - Working knowledge of AWS cloud services and embedded Linux rootfs management (Yocto/Buildroot). - Basic understanding of web technologies like REST API, MQTT, and server-side principles.,
