Job Description
As an Embedded Firmware Engineer, you will be responsible for executing the complete embedded firmware development lifecycle to create scalable and optimized firmware/software systems. Your main goal will be to contribute to the development of cutting-edge technology in the field. You should possess a bachelor's or master's degree in engineering, computer science, or a related field. A minimum of 4 years of extensive experience with all phases of the embedded firmware development lifecycle is required for a senior role. Additionally, you should have at least 2 years of experience in circuit-level firmware development. Experience with Renesas, STM32, and various MCU cores (16 to 32-bits) along with peripherals is necessary. Proficiency in C, Embedded C, and assembly programming is essential. You should also have experience working with firmware development in platform-independent environments, as well as hands-on experience with embedded targets. Adequate knowledge of reading schematics and data sheets for components, understanding schematics for board bring up, and writing drivers for devices on standard interfaces like UART, I2C, and SPI are key requirements. Strong documentation and writing skills are a must, as well as experience in ISO13485 Medical Devices, FDA filings, and Orcard PCB design. Proficiency with medical-related products such as ECG and SpO2 will be an advantage in this role.
