Job Description
As a Linux System Software Developer, you will be responsible for designing and developing high-performance Linux system applications in technologies such as C, C++, JavaScript, and NodeJS. Your expertise in JavaScript, NodeJS, C, C++, and various data storage technologies will be crucial in creating complex yet efficient software solutions. You must possess in-depth knowledge of Linux Operating System internals and have experience working with Linux embedded systems. Your role will involve translating business requirements into architectural frameworks and system designs, requiring a deep understanding of software development, networking, and system design. Experience in multimedia, Digital Television, and Web Content Streaming technologies will be beneficial. Familiarity with RDK Central software ecosystem designs, video encoding, streaming, CA, DRM systems, E2E video management technologies, and Nagra CA will be advantageous. Additionally, you should have knowledge of Smart RCU integration, Linux Bootloader, Systemd, DBUS, software configuration management systems, and be well-versed in SDLC and agile methodologies. Your strong problem-solving skills, logical thinking, and ability to collaborate will be essential in delivering successful projects. Client interfacing skills, project management, and team management experience are also desirable qualities for this role. In this position, staying updated with the latest technologies and industry trends, as well as having a strategic business acumen, will be key to your success. Your understanding of financial processes, pricing models, and industry domain knowledge will contribute to the overall project success.
