Job Description

Role Objective: To support and improve existing electronic product designs by addressing technical challenges, ensuring compliance with standards, and collaborating with cross-functional teams for enhancements, validation, and issue resolution. Key Responsibilities: Participate in Product Maintenance & Improvement (PMI) activities. Analyze and optimize PCBs, circuit architectures, and embedded systems (microprocessor/microcontroller-based). Support EMI/EMC, thermal, and environmental testing. Drive cost optimization, resolve functional/application/production issues, and manage component obsolescence. Work with cross-functional teams and suppliers for product improvement execution. Core Technical Skills Required: PCB engineering, component engineering, circuit simulation (PSpice, LTspice) Hands-on experience with 16/32-bit microcontrollers, SMPS, linear & signal conditioning circuits Analog & digital hardware design FMEA, Stress/Derating/Worst-case/Tolerance analysis PCB layout and schematics interpretation Hardware architecture design and system specification writing Preferred/Added Advantage: Experience in full hardware development lifecycle: requirements design V&V certification Test planning & qualification procedures Familiarity with PLM tools (e.g., Teamcenter) and PCB design tools (e.g., Altium Designer, NX) Use of lab instruments: Oscilloscopes, signal generators, RF equipment, etc. Knowledge of standards: ATEX, EC, CISPR, ISO, SAE High-speed PCB design, SI/EMI/EMC compliance,
