Position Title:  Electrical Technician - LV/Automation Switchgear
Department/Division: Automation / Electrical
Role: LV/Automation Switchgear Electrical Technician

Key Responsibilities:

• Interpret and understand schematic diagrams for LV/Automation panels

• Receive materials as per issuance slips from the store

• Request issuance of consumables as needed

• Have a solid understanding of various components used in LV and automation panels

• Prepare the mounting plate and panel door for component installation

• Install components onto the mounting plate and door

• Prepare ferrules according to schematic drawings (straight or cross format)

• Perform wiring tasks based on electrical schematics

• Install internal labels on components

• Apply appropriate labeling on panel doors

• Assist QA/QC team during panel testing

• Troubleshoot and resolve issues or faults

• Address and rectify any snags as per QC or customer feedback

Qualifications:

• ITI in Electrical Wiring

• Minimum 35 years of relevant experience in the UAE/Gulf region
