Job Description

You will be responsible for developing, evaluating, and implementing strategies for continuous improvement in the E&I departments of the Cement Mill & Packing Plant. This includes analyzing equipment needs, addressing reliability issues, developing preventive/predictive maintenance programs, and ensuring their enforcement among maintenance staff. Additionally, you will assist in the design and installation of new systems, manage upgrades to software impacting E&I equipment and processes, and oversee the upkeep of all manufacturing assets to improve productivity while minimizing maintenance costs and resources. Your role also involves ensuring a safe, secure, and legal work environment. Your main challenges will include leading the section team in resolving instrument, control, and electrical technical issues, maintaining logs, verifying items prior to pre-inspection, developing maintenance plans, tracking costs and timelines via SAP, coordinating with internal areas/groups, providing guidance to vendors, ensuring technical assistance during various stages, communicating effectively with stakeholders, and overseeing contractor performance. Key Result Areas: 1. To increase the operational efficiency of the section & reduce unscheduled downtime: Articulate a plan, review and analyze preventive maintenance plan for equipment, deliver technical services during troubleshooting, and corrective actions. 2. Cost Optimization: Forecast and prepare budgets, monitor budget utilization, monitor spare parts and inventory for critical instrumentation, establish new inventory/cataloging, and update inventory information. 3. System Implementation and People Development: Supervise and groom FLEs to develop technical knowledge, safety level, skills, and behavioral competencies. Maintain ABOE and other UTCL Systems by establishing, following, and enforcing standards and procedures. 4. Safety & statutory compliance: Carry out timely inspections as per guidelines, ensure compliance with Electrical Inspectorate/statutory guidelines, conduct required checks and tests, maintain statutory records, take corrective measures for deviations, monitor the line clearance system, and identify and rectify unsafe points and practices.,
