Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 7 to 8 years of hands-on experience in maintaining a variety of electrical systems and machinery, including sheet metal machines, CNC bending machines, hydraulic presses, laser cutting equipment, and utilities such as transformers, DG sets, and compressors. You will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation and reliability of electrical systems, minimizing downtime, and contributing to the improvement of maintenance processes. Key Responsibilities: Machine Maintenance: Perform routine and corrective maintenance on sheet metal machines, CNC bending machines, punching machines, hydraulic presses, and laser cutting machines. Troubleshoot and repair electrical faults in production equipment, ensuring minimal downtime. Coil Shop Equipment Maintenance: Oversee maintenance of coil-related machinery such as Fin Press, Hair Pin Bending, and Coil Bending machines. Ensure smooth operation and high-quality output in the coil shop. Utility Systems Management: Manage and maintain electrical systems related to transformers, DG sets, low and high-pressure compressors, LPG gas banks, and oxygen generators. Ensure optimal performance of all utility equipment and troubleshoot any electrical issues. Documentation & Reporting: Maintain proper records of maintenance activities, including ISO documentation, TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) logs, purchase requisitions, and supplier follow-ups. Generate regular reports on equipment performance, maintenance schedules, and downtime analysis. Preventive Maintenance: Develop and implement preventive maintenance plans to enhance the reliability and longevity of all electrical equipment. Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost savings. Qualifications: Education: BE in Electrical Engineering or Diploma in Electrical Engineering. Experience: 7-8 years of experience in electrical maintenance, preferably in a manufacturing environment. Specific Knowledge: Expertise in machine maintenance, including CNC machines, hydraulic presses, laser cutting, and coil shop equipment. Strong knowledge of utility systems (transformers, DG sets, compressors, etc.). Familiarity with ISO documentation, TPM, and maintenance reporting systems.
