Job Description
As an Electrical Engineer at HENG-Heavy Engineering Hazira Mfg Complex, your role will involve working on various aspects related to electrical systems and equipment. With a minimum qualification of Diploma in Electrical Engineering (DEE) and 4-6 years of experience, you will be responsible for the testing, operation, and maintenance of transformers up to 100MVA in the 220/33/6.6/0.415KV Substation. Your key responsibilities will include the operation and maintenance of EHV, HV, and LT Panels, particularly Siemens & L&T panels, along with their control and protections systems. You will be tasked with assessing the performance of power equipment, conducting health checks, and maintaining a critical spare list for electrical equipment. Additionally, you will oversee power utilization, improve machine efficiency, and prepare monthly power reports with detailed analysis. Your role will also involve ensuring compliance with calibration schedules, instruments, and legal requirements as per ISO and factories act. You will play a crucial part in identifying critical spares, improving store inventories, and maintaining all necessary documents for ISO 50001, ISO 9001, and ISO 45001 standards. Energy conservation assignments and predictive/preventive maintenance planning and execution will be integral parts of your responsibilities. Furthermore, you will be required to have hands-on experience in configuring, communicating, and diagnosing various relay systems such as Siemens, SEL, L&T, and ABB. Your expertise in commissioning, testing, and maintaining switchyard equipment, transformers, and distribution systems will be essential. Operation and maintenance of diesel generator sets, shop lighting, and UPS systems will also fall under your purview. In addition to your technical duties, you will be responsible for managing material procurement through SAP, ensuring spares availability for breakdown maintenance, and focusing on quality control, TPM, TQM, and EHS compliances. Daily monitoring, reporting, documentation, and load pattern analysis will be part of your routine tasks. Conducting toolbox talks, delivering training sessions, and ensuring continuous power supply to critical equipment will be vital aspects of your role. Being part of a 3-shift rotation schedule is mandatory for this position. Your dedication to maintaining operational efficiency, safety standards, and equipment reliability will be crucial in ensuring the smooth functioning of the electrical systems within the organization.,
