The role of Electrical and Instrumentation Technician is a full-time on-site position located in Shillong. As an Electrical and Instrumentation Technician, your primary responsibilities will revolve around the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems and instrumentation. You will be tasked with daily activities such as motor control, process control, troubleshooting, instrumentation, and calibration of equipment. It is crucial to ensure that all systems operate efficiently and in compliance with safety standards. To excel in this role, you should possess skills in Motor Control and Process Control, along with experience in Troubleshooting and Instrumentation. Proficiency in Calibration of equipment, a strong understanding of electrical systems and safety standards, excellent problem-solving abilities, and attention to detail are essential traits. The ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team is key to success in this position. Ideal candidates will hold a relevant technical certification or degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field. Previous experience in a similar role, particularly within the mining industry, would be advantageous.
