Safe Driving: Safely operating a vehicle to transport goods to their destinations, adhering to traffic laws and safety regulations. Timely Deliveries: Ensuring timely and accurate delivery of goods to clients according to schedule. Loading and Unloading: Safely loading and unloading goods from the vehicle, using proper equipment and techniques to prevent damage. Route Planning: Planning and optimizing delivery routes to minimize time and fuel consumption, considering factors like traffic and weather conditions. Customer Service: Providing excellent customer service during deliveries, being courteous, professional, and helpful to customers. Vehicle Maintenance: Performing routine checks and maintenance on the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition, including checking oil, tires, and brakes. Documentation: Maintaining accurate records of deliveries, including invoices, delivery notes, and any discrepancies encountered during deliveries. Communication: Effectively communicating with dispatchers, supervisors, and customers to relay information regarding deliveries, delays, or any issues encountered. Problem Solving: Resolving any delivery-related issues or customer complaints in a timely and satisfactory manner, ensuring customer satisfaction. Adherence to Regulations: Following company policies, safety regulations, and traffic laws at all times to ensure the safety of oneself, passengers, and other road users. Physical Fitness: Maintaining physical fitness to handle the demands of loading and unloading goods and driving for extended periods.
