 Diagnosing and Treating Patients:

• Examine patients to assess their health, diagnose medical conditions, and recommend appropriate treatments.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests (e.g., blood tests, X-rays, MRIs).
• Prescribe medications and treatment plans for various illnesses and injuries.
• Monitor patients' progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly.

Patient Care:

• Provide direct care to patients in different healthcare settings (e.g., hospitals, clinics, private practice).
• Offer preventive care, including vaccinations and health screenings.
• Educate patients and their families about their health conditions and treatment options.
• Coordinate with other healthcare professionals (e.g., nurses, specialists) to ensure comprehensive patient care.

Medical Procedures and Surgery:

• Perform surgical procedures if qualified (in the case of surgeons).
• Administer injections, IV drips, or other medical interventions when necessary.
• Assist in minor or major surgeries, depending on specialization.

Documentation:

• Maintain detailed and accurate patient records in compliance with medical laws and regulations.
• Update patient histories, progress notes, and treatment outcomes in medical charts.
• Ensure confidentiality and privacy of patient information.

Collaboration with Other Healthcare Providers:

• Work with other doctors, nurses, therapists, and specialists to develop comprehensive treatment plans.
• Refer patients to other specialists or medical facilities as needed.
• Participate in team meetings to discuss patient care strategies.

Emergency Response:

• Respond to medical emergencies, including trauma or life-threatening situations.
• Provide life-saving interventions, such as CPR, airway management, or emergency surgery.

Continuing Education and Research:

• Stay up-to-date with medical advancements, research, and new treatment methods through continued education.
• Participate in medical research and clinical trials to improve treatment options and patient care.
• Attend medical conferences and seminars to expand knowledge and skills.

Consultation and Second Opinions:

• Offer consultations and second opinions to other healthcare providers or patients seeking alternative perspectives on diagnoses or treatments.
