We're Hiring a Django Tech Lead for a Leading Manufacturing Client! At BeGig, we connect top freelance tech talent with forward-thinking businesses. One of our clientsa leading player in the manufacturing industryis looking for an experienced Django Tech Lead to develop and deploy scalable, secure, and high-performance web solutions. Theyre seeking a skilled Django Developer to join them on a 3-month, full-time contract in Chennai to lead the development of a React-Django-based application. This is your chance to: Lead the development of a Django-based web application with React frontend Design and optimize RESTful APIs for seamless backend functionality Manage SQL Server databases and oversee IIS server deployments Work on cloud-based deployments using AWS Ensure security best practices and high-performance application architecture About the Role Job Role: Django Tech Lead Type: Contract (3 months, extendable) Mode: Onsite (Chennai) Commitment: 8 hours/day Key Responsibilities Develop and maintain Django-based applications Design and implement scalable RESTful APIs Manage and optimize SQL Server databases Configure and oversee IIS server deployments Integrate React.js for frontend development Deploy and manage applications on AWS Implement security best practices and ensure high availability Provide technical leadership and code reviews for the development team Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in production environments What Were Looking For 5+ years of experience in Django & Python Expertise in RESTful API development Hands-on experience with SQL Server & ORM frameworks Experience working on React-Django projects Knowledge of IIS server configuration & production deployment Familiarity with AWS cloud services Strong understanding of web security best practices Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills Why This Gig Matters This role is a high-impact opportunity to lead the development of cutting-edge web applications for a leading manufacturing company.
