Experience (in years): 3 to 12 Years Domain of experience: Industrial Engineering & Discrete Event Simulation Tools skillset- Siemens Plant Sim (Primary), Flex SIM Education: BE,/B tech in Industrial / Mechanical Engineering Major Deliverables / Job Profile: Designs, improves, and integrated manufacturing systems which use people, materials, information, equipment, and energy. Research and test design ideas to determine feasibility, utilizing lean manufacturing, kaizen, Six Sigma, and root-cause analysis to formulate and support innovation, corrective actions, and improvements. Discrete Event and In-Plant Logistics Simulation Process Flow, Material Flow and Throughput Simulations: Simulate various material flow scenarios to identify potential bottlenecks, minimized buffer size and optimize throughput. AGV Routes optimization: Simulate AGV operations to identify and mitigate traffic concerns, including static clash detection and gridlock identification. Conduct specific experiments on facility process efficiency, operator travel time, Able to work in both 2D and 3D Simulation. Operator Efficiency: Assess operator travel time. Generating different What-If Scenarios as per requirements from customer Layout & Process validation (Plant and Shop) Cycle time analysis, creation, validation & optimization. Analysis and Optimization of Plant and Facility Logistics Experience in Writing operation codes using inputs such as Cycle time, Layout & Process etc Experience in Siemens - Plant Simulation software for writing operation & codes. MOST analysis to perform Manpower calculation. Line balancing with MTM analysis. Facility layout study and Bottleneck Analysis for the system capacity Design DOE and facilitate alternative generation for the gaps observed in the System Capacity from the target. Experience of European OEMs / USA OEMs is an advantage. Worked in Plant environment for validation & optimization.,
