Job Description
As the Sales Manager at Le Mridien, your primary responsibility will be to lead and manage all day-to-day activities related to the sales function. Your focus will be on building long-term, value-based customer relationships that enable the achievement of property sales objectives. You will also be responsible for achieving personal booking goals and providing recommendations on booking goals for your direct reports. To be successful in this role, you should possess a 2-year degree from an accredited university in Business Administration, Marketing, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or a related major, along with 3 years of experience in sales and marketing or a related professional area. Alternatively, a 4-year bachelor's degree in the mentioned fields with 1 year of relevant experience will also be considered. Your core work activities will include supporting the development and execution of sales strategies in alignment with the sales leader, creating and implementing sales plans, and assisting in the development and implementation of promotions. You will be responsible for maximizing revenue potential by providing positive and aggressive leadership, recommending booking goals for the sales team, and monitoring the activities of your direct reports. Additionally, you will analyze and report on sales and financial data, ensuring exceptional customer service by displaying leadership in guest hospitality, obtaining feedback from guests, and incorporating guest satisfaction as a component of department meetings. Building successful relationships with key stakeholders, both internal and external, will be crucial, as well as managing and conducting human resource activities, including interviewing and hiring employees with the necessary skills.
