Job Description
Job summary Cognizant is seeking a strategic thought leader for our Risk Management Program. The Director Risk Management will be responsible for providing thought leadership developing the next generation risk management program engaging with partners across the organization (including Corporate Security Procurement Legal Privacy IT Relationship Owners and others). They will also provide Cognizant leadership visibility to the risk being assumed whether it be corporate acquisitions or in our busine Responsibilities Develop and maintain a comprehensive cybersecurity framework that aligns with the organization vision mission values and objectives Ensure compliance with relevant laws regulations standards and best practices related to cybersecurity data privacy and information security Provide strategic guidance and direction to senior management and business units on cybersecurity risks issues and solutions Manage and coordinate the cybersecurity team and foster a culture of collaboration innovation and excellence Establish and monitor key performance indicators and metrics to measure and report on the effectiveness and efficiency of cybersecurity initiatives and programs Identify assess and prioritize cybersecurity threats vulnerabilities and incidents and implement appropriate mitigation and response actions Continuously evaluate and improve the cybersecurity posture and resilience of the organization and its systems processes and people Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders including client's vendors partners regulators auditors and law enforcement agencies to ensure alignment and coordination on cybersecurity matters Certifications Required Bachelors degree with 10 years+ experience in information security and risk management especially with technology risk management it audits in enterprise organizations. Masters degree preferred.,
