COMPANY: Leading Multinational Manufacturer POSITION: Director Operations LOCATION: Bangladesh SALARY : Gross USD 15,000 + Benefits KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: 1.Strategic Operations Leadership Oversee end-to-end operations including production, planning, procurement, quality, engineering, and supply chain across multiple factories or business units. Translate organizational goals into actionable operational strategies and ensure alignment with the companys long-term vision. 2. Manufacturing Excellence Drive operational excellence through Lean Manufacturing, 5S, Six Sigma, or other process improvement methodologies. Identify areas for efficiency improvements and implement KPIs to enhance productivity, reduce waste, and optimize costs. 3. Product Expertise Utilize strong technical knowledge in woven or knit apparel products to ensure product integrity and manufacturability. Collaborate closely with the merchandising and product development teams to ensure alignment between design intent and manufacturing capabilities. 4. People & Team Management Lead, mentor, and develop large cross-functional teams including Factory Managers, Production Heads, and support functions. Foster a high-performance culture with a focus on accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement. 5. Compliance and Quality Assurance Ensure adherence to international compliance standards and customer-specific protocols. Ensure production meets quality expectations and resolve escalated quality or technical issues. 6. Customer and Stakeholder Management Act as a key point of contact for strategic buyers and brands; manage client expectations and ensure high service levels. Provide regular updates to senior leadership on production status, performance metrics, and improvement plans. PRE - REQUISITES: Bachelors Degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or Apparel Technology. MBA or equivalent preferred. Experience: Minimum 15+ years in apparel manufacturing operations with at least 7 years in a senior leadership role. Product Knowledge: Deep experience in woven and/or knit garments, handling bulk production for global apparel brands.,
