Job Description
As a Director within the Product Management practice, you will be responsible for assisting clients in developing and executing their business and product strategies. This role involves working closely with client leadership and Publicis Sapient delivery teams to become the trusted advisor of clients. In addition to client delivery, you will play a critical leadership role within the Product Management practice. Your responsibilities will include talent development, managing internal capacity, contributing to recruitment efforts, and shaping the future of the practice through thought leadership and strategic engagement with CXO-level stakeholders. You will need to understand client business problems and propose innovative solutions by collaborating with product managers, analysts, engineers, and creative teams to ideate, build, test, and launch new features. Supporting business proposals by leveraging industry expertise and collaborating with global teams and cross-functional practices will also be part of your role. Furthermore, you are expected to demonstrate entrepreneurial drive, lead new initiatives, and play a mentor role within the product management community to foster learning and continuous improvement. As a Director, you will lead and manage bench capacity and deployment across engagements to ensure optimal talent utilization and alignment with client demand. Collaboration with Talent and Staffing teams to attract, retain, and grow top-tier product talent is crucial. You will also be responsible for recruiting new talent aligned with evolving practice needs. Additionally, you will drive the creation of thought leadership and Points of View (POVs) on emerging trends in product management and financial services, presenting insights to senior client stakeholders, including CXOs. Your role will also involve acting as a trusted advisor to executive-level clients by distilling complex business challenges into actionable strategies and delivering data-driven recommendations. To be successful in this role, you should possess an MBA from a Tier-1 B-School and have over 20 years of relevant experience in digital product management and/or business strategy. Strong analytical skills, business acumen, excellent stakeholder engagement, presentation, and communication skills are essential. Experience working with stakeholders across distributed geographies is also beneficial. In addition to the general experience guidelines mentioned above, the ideal candidate for this position should have a deep mix of expertise in healthcare services industry experience, product thinking craft & mindset, and digital business transformation experience. Healthcare services industry experience should include expertise in the U.S. healthcare industry, functional areas like Pharmacy Benefit Management (PBM), Insurance plan operations, Claims, Adjudication systems, Healthcare analytics, as well as exposure to healthcare compliance and regulatory frameworks such as HIPAA, HITECH, CMS guidelines, and audit standards. The candidate should also demonstrate expertise in leading product teams with a lean-agile, outcome-driven mindset, applying startup-style business models, value frameworks, and prioritization methodologies. Deep experience with agile delivery of digital products in enterprise environments and knowledge of scaled agile frameworks is required. Additionally, the ideal candidate should have a proven track record of leading digital business transformation initiatives with measurable outcomes, including business performance and industry analysis, exposure to emerging technologies, expertise in customer journey design, and experience in digital maturity assessments and innovation strategy. Operating model transformation and experience in designing or launching new digital banks or collaborating with fintechs/product firms are considered strong assets.,
