bout SolarSquare: At SolarSquare we are building the Home-Energy brand of future India. We help homes switch to rooftop solar and move away from traditional coal electricity. We are a full-stack D2C residential solar brand - designing, installing, maintaining (after-sales) and financing solar systems for home-owners across India. In 3 years we have scaled to become the leading residential solar brand in India. We are obsessed with quality, customer service and innovating to make it simple for homes to switch to solar. We are looking for leaders to join us in this mission. Role Summary: Solar Square is currently present in 20 cities across India, and were looking for a rockstart to lead our expansion into the next set of cities. This role will be a complete ownership role for identifying new markets, setting up resources and processes to scale to ~ 1Cr per month revenue run rate. Key Responsibilities: Strategy Development: Develop and implement expansion strategies, including market selection, go-to-market plans, and partnership strategies. Define the phases and KPI success criteria for new market entry. Research and develop a deep understanding of potential markets, including addressable size, readiness, and competitiveness. Market Entry & Execution: Lead cross-functional teams to execute expansion plans, ensuring efficiency and speed to market. Establish on-the-ground presence in new markets, building key relationships and standing up operations. Manage operations, including recruitment, training, and quality control in new markets. Team Leadership & Development: Build and lead a high-performing expansion team, including recruiting, motivating, and developing talent. Set up the team for success with the right direction, resources, and skill sets. Collaboration & Communication: Collaborate with other leaders to meet objectives around product experience, growth, and scalability. Communicate expansion plans and progress to stakeholders. Financial Management: Manage the expansion P&L, driving efficiency and sound decision-making. Data Analysis & Reporting: Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide regular reports on expansion progress. Analyze data to identify areas for improvement and optimization.
