About Barclays
Job Description
The role requires you to establish and nurture profitable partnerships with both corporate and individual clients. As the bridge between the bank's offerings and clients" needs, your primary responsibility is to ensure mutual benefit and long-term success. Your key accountabilities will include managing client relationships by identifying their financial goals, challenges, and risk tolerance. You will analyze data from various sources such as investment portfolios and cash flow to identify trends, insights, areas for improvement, and additional services to meet client needs. Additionally, you will conduct research on the client's industry trends, regulatory landscape, and competitive environment to provide strategic recommendations. Designing customized solutions that address specific client needs and objectives will be a crucial aspect of your role. You will leverage a range of products and services from the bank's portfolio to create tailored solutions. Communication plays a vital role as you will need to articulate the value proposition of proposed solutions, justify recommendations, and negotiate terms beneficial for both the client and the bank. Guiding clients in their financial decisions, offering expert investment advice, risk management, wealth management strategies, and updates on market trends will be part of your responsibilities. You will also assess financial, legal, and operational risks associated with client relationships and implement measures to minimize potential losses. Documentation of all client interactions, transactions, and agreements is essential to ensure transparency and auditability. This information will be communicated effectively to support product development, service offerings, and the overall bank strategy. Monitoring client satisfaction, revenue generated, and other relevant metrics will help evaluate the effectiveness of relationship management efforts. As a Director, you will provide expert advice to senior functional management and committees, influencing decisions outside of your function. You will also manage, coordinate, and enable resourcing, budgeting, and policy creation for a significant sub-function. Your role will include escalating breaches of policies and procedures appropriately and ensuring compliance with regulations. Demonstrating leadership behaviours such as listening, inspiring, aligning across the enterprise, and developing others is crucial for creating an environment where colleagues can thrive and deliver consistently excellent work. Upholding the Barclays Values of Respect, Integrity, Service, Excellence, and Stewardship, along with the Barclays Mindset to Empower, Challenge, and Drive, will guide your actions and decisions in the role.,
