Job Description
As the Sales Manager at Fairfield by Marriott, your main responsibility is to lead and manage all day-to-day activities related to the sales function. Your focus will be on building long-term, value-based customer relationships that enable the achievement of property sales objectives. You will also be responsible for achieving personal booking goals and providing guidance on booking goals for your direct reports. To excel in this role, you should have a 2-year degree from an accredited university in Business Administration, Marketing, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or a related major, along with 3 years of experience in sales and marketing or a related professional area. Alternatively, a 4-year bachelor's degree in the same fields with 1 year of relevant experience will also be considered. Your core work activities will include supporting the development and execution of sales strategies in alignment with the sales leader, creating and implementing sales plans to address revenue and customer needs, and assisting in the development of promotions. You will also play a key role in maximizing revenue by providing leadership to ensure maximum revenue potential, monitoring sales activities, and participating in sales calls to acquire new business. Additionally, you will be responsible for analyzing and reporting on sales and financial data, ensuring exceptional customer service by displaying leadership in guest hospitality, obtaining feedback on product quality and service levels, and incorporating guest satisfaction as a component of department meetings. Building successful relationships with key stakeholders, managing human resource activities such as hiring, and conducting training for employees will also be part of your role.
